We think only a record holder can know what you go through to set a record, so we only let people that
have already set world records downvote other people's records.
What can I do?
Go set a record! If you can think of it, you can set a new world record for it.
wow, great effort David. That's impressive! I think for future attempts, ensuring after each landing the legs are at least fully straightened or some way of showing the landing has definitely been stuck. As the result increases, it will be harder and harder to determine the landing.
The criteria "time starts when first is landed" seems really odd... It suggests the first is a free count. It should at least be a flat timer on "3-2-1 go" or at least from the start of the build up of the first. I'd like to think timed records would be based on the start of an attempt instead of the start of a timer - but this needs to be a global discussion on timing rules/guidelines.
Peter, I tweaked criteria in a manner I believe accurately reflects the spirit of what you're aiming for. Sound OK? Notorious Ninjas, whoever you are, awesome record! Very impressive attempt.
It's up for debate as to whether the spin should be part of the criteria or not but as discussed I'm happy to accept this submission as there was at least effort to stand completely upright at the end of each landing. The spin is a measure to ensure for much faster paced attempts in future are actually sticking each landing.
Hence @Darryl, I opened the category not to "show my moves" but to set some criteria and appeal to those better to set a more reasonable benchmark. As fair as this next step up is, there's clearly a lot more room for improvement but for now 9 is the best!
There's a breakin' move where breakers bounce off their upper back to a kick-up, and continually do so...this is just the begining for this record, as it has a long way to go - util breakers start hittin' it. :) Just saying don't be too content to rest at just 9 - guaranteed that will be broken by some-one.
The 360 spin isn't part of the kip-up, just a measure to ensure the landing has been completely stuck instead of landing then falling back down. Standing upright is fine but can be difficult to judge when the benchmark gets higher.
Congrats guys! Yeah Rob they've not followed the "spin after each kipup"... but each of the jumps looks legit and they've gone to the effort of standing completely upright which I think is perfectly fine - although opens up to this being pushed to the point where it's not a compete kip-up, I vote to accept this with the criteria of spinning being upgraded to "followed by a 360 spin or full upright stance". If there was one that looked like a half fall I would have pointed it out but these are all clean, now I want to beat it back :)
How many did you get to? This was a dismal first attempt and with a bit of practice I should be able to get at least 20 I reckon, but was opening up the category more for others to show their skills rather than it being a professional technical demonstration.

Without a 360 degree spin after each kip-up, this attempt does not meet the criteria to break Peter's previous record.

Hmmmm...NN does not complete a 360 after each kip-up? Should we make this a DENIED attempt? Peter, do you want to weigh in here?
