Trish Martinez and five of his friends sat on an office chair at once.
Stride’s setting 100 records in 100 days. At the end of 100 days, we’ll
verify if you are the standing Record Holder. If you are, you’ll get
$500 for each record you managed to hold with your guile, talent, and
sheer will.
General caution and common sense required. We show the Stride Team at
work, but recommend that these challenges be done at home.

This video doesn't clearly show everyone off the ground for at least three seconds.

This attempt makes me miss my family :)

xD If i knew that like 2 weeks ago, i'd of tried. Maybe in the future for fun.

We stand by our decision that this is an acceptable office chair. Similar reference here: http://bit.ly/qLhfUA
Vernon: The primary record setter must be 14 or over, but the concept you propose is acceptable.

Thomas how is the one set by Trish valid? that chair would never be in an office, the one by joseph is a lot better, dont u agree
Thomas Perez
lmao Rob yea I was saying the same thing. He's outside and sitting on a wooden chair...? w/e lol
Rob Costa
Show me an office where that is the standard desk chair.
Emily Miethner
hehe so cute!

So, if I get my cousin's entire 1st grade class to sit on my lap and shoulders, would it could?

If you win this category, are you buying pizza for the floor?
Zach Neal
"Put your junk on the back of my head." Hahahah!

Neil 1. We never see the right foot of the person in the white bathrobe clearly off the ground. 2. Once the last person is on, we see no clear evidence of everyone's feet off the ground for three full seconds.

Why was this denied?? We definitely made sure that everything was according to criteria

Christophe The spirit of "office chair" is "chair you would sit in at a desk and work in." Most of the big chairs you showed on your link were called guest chairs, and I'd put the one you and your team used in the same category. I have huge admiration for the attempt here, but we felt it would be a slippery slope if your chair was accepted.
Our moderation team has added the word "desk" within "must used standard office chair" to avoid confusion moving forward.

Is it the chair? This is SO an office chair! It's even in an office!
Dan Rollman
Patrick In the eyes of our moderation team, we're OK accepting this as an office chair. We also believe this group follows the spirit of what "sitting" in an office chair is. See this record as reference: http://recordsetter.com/world-record/people-sitting-loveseat/5751
Patrick S.
some of them are not even sitting
Patrick S.
that shouldnt count that is not an office chair that the title of the record is SITTING on an office chair. its crazy that this is allowed
Dan Rollman
Awesome record, y'all!

haha schuyler, love the idea of guys in the RecordSetter office insisting interns clamber over each other to test out some records :) If this really is true, please post a photo!! And in regards o this current record "office chair" in this case is a far stretch... it's a chair but what constitutes "office chair"?
Schuyler Van Horn
really surprised this hasn't been beaten yet. We got 7 interns on one chair in the office yesterday
