We think only a record holder can know what you go through to set a record, so we only let people that
have already set world records downvote other people's records.
What can I do?
Go set a record! If you can think of it, you can set a new world record for it.
It was all meant in good fun on my part. It is a competition no matter how you look at it and every competition has rules, if the rules aren't broken the nit counts.
However, I agree with Harmon and think it should at least have a sub-category for my 495 raises with hands.
What I did is in the spirit of this site and was no way meant to tick anyone off on here. Like I said it was all in good fun.
Put the possibilities to this record and every record on the site ar endless and rules have to be specific in order not to run into problems.
Harmon, if a group of people got together to attempt this, it would be an entirely new category. Something for the next RecordSetter office party, maybe?
@Harmon: Being the original creator of this category, you have the right to add in the rule. We will go ahead and move Shane's attempt to 'denied' and @Shane: Majority of the community feel that your attempt does not go along with the spirit of the record and we would very much like it if you re-do this again without using your hands.
