Finally, it's verified :D This attempt was an absolutely brutal effort. But I believe now - I will take this exercise to newer and higher dimensions ;)

Just a warning on this one for those willing to try it; from my dismal attempt of just under 2 minutes I did at least two days ago, my stomach is still hurting - so be careful straining too far or attempting without preparation/stretching :)

I like Peters suggestion about "any hard floor". Darryl would that be okay by you?

Hey Peter, thanks for the love much appreciated :D Thankfully - I credit my endurance to my finger-planks, one-arm, and push-up exercises which all utilize the stomach, and shoulder muscles used in this particular exercise.

1:30 is a fantastic time :) I would say keep pushing your time longer each time you do it (when you plateau) Than for example plank for say 1:00 minute, do 20 push-ups (whatever), and try for another plank best.

Introducing an eclectic mix of those exercises that use similer muscles mixed in your training will help tremendously breaking those plateau's.

What breaks me is mostly 'will-power', and that stupid clock that 'ticks to every second' - I would really rather not be aware of every little second that passes by (it presents a pyschological barrier).

    Cheers, friend

I mentioned before, this is very boring to sit through and watch but at the same time a fantastic example if you ever want to watch pure determination and perseverance. Also with that said, I've now watched it twice :)

I would vote to revise criteria on this one to include "any hard floor" which covers cement/concrete, wood or tiles although it would be interesting to know what amount of difference this would make.

You need to try this yourself to be able to appreciate how impressive it really is. Can you explain what you're feeling through the process Darryl, and what eventually breaks you at the end? What are the issues you have after the attempt and what are some tips for preparing to do it? Do you do any stretches or prepping before hand? For the record, my current PB is only 1:30 (on hard floor) but I'd like to try and continue improving to be within your league.
