  I contest this being a record. This was previously accomplished as part of Vince Veneziani's "Most Gang Signs Thrown in a Minute" on Feb 11, 2009. And although that wasn't specifically about longest word spelled, there is video on this site of someone else completing this feat. And I agree with the folks that say there are photos of people doing this all over the internet. Do a 6 letter word and I'd be happy to applaud your feat.

  Why is this a record? I saw this ten years ago, and it was probably in existence before then b/c the Bloods gang have been around for a while. There are pix of this sign over the Internet referring to the gang. It would've been more impressive if it were included with most number of words/phrases spelled with hands/fingers by one person. Not trying to hate, but I just don't see why this alone is a record.

  No hate, just not impressed with the choice of word. I guess it matters where you come from. "Plate" would be much more preferable to me. Congratulations on holding a world record my friend.
