We think only a record holder can know what you go through to set a record, so we only let people that
have already set world records downvote other people's records.
What can I do?
Go set a record! If you can think of it, you can set a new world record for it.
Kinda agree with Pete. This should just be changed to most 225# deadlifts in one minute, if it's going to exist (wouldn't mind an over 200 lbs / under 200 lbs / female variant either tbh but that's another topic entirely). This record could still remain post rule change until someone beats it, of course (though like Pete said, it should really require lockout)
Or if anything, most lifts of 225 pounds of "odd weight" (change the word deadlift and just require a dead stop on every rep) and allow any kind of object that isn't a barbell?
I do 405 strict deadlifts for 6 reps have done 315 lbs for over 25 reps. 225 lbs is a breeze for me but this is a hard record like I said nothing to grip onto
I think this record needs to be denied or at least edited:
1) Those aren't deadlifts. That's just lifting something off the ground.
2) The object isn't commercially available. If you look up house foundation you'll see a vast amount of land with cement poured.
I'd love to see an actual record of most times deadlifting 225 lbs in a minute. I know several people that would love to beat it.

I would get rid of the word "Deadlift" in the title and just change this to Most Times Picking Up a 225 lb Six Faced Object in a Minute.
Not deadlifts.
Not a foundation. Just a heavy cube.
