I vote the hard surface rule be removed. anyone agree?

I say change 'hard' to 'flat and level'. Otherwise someone might bury their hands in sand to help stabilize.

A folded yoga mat And a towel, is a hard surface???

I think this pose perform directly on hard surface is painful to finger knots. So for Longest Pose it may be harmful.

But the rules state, "must be performed on a hard surface"

No grass or carpet permitted but, a folded yoga mat is ok?
