Students from the EcoResponse Club, Engineering College and BYU Wellness at Brigham Young University built a cardboard box castle made of 734 boxes in the center of campus.

They set the record to promote the start of RecycleMania, an annual recycling competition.

- fort must be composed primarily of cardboard boxes
- tape and other adhesives permitted
- must follow form of current world record holder
- must provide video evidence
