We think only a record holder can know what you go through to set a record, so we only let people that
have already set world records downvote other people's records.
What can I do?
Go set a record! If you can think of it, you can set a new world record for it.
Hi Dan: Thanks for weighing in on this record (and my usual thanks to Rob for helping out). Good question - I did anticipate someone would use clothing or sewing buttons to be considered and thought I cited that inscribed or designed buttons were necessary to qualify, thus excluding the standard clothing buttons. (My hat is off to Freida nonetheless for her collection!) If that distinction cannot be made in the criteria, maybe we should call my record "Largest Message Button Collection". I'm not sure how to best address this clarification. Appreciate your thoughts. Art

Do clothing buttons count? If so, this collection is significantly larger: http://www.warthers.com/Button_Collecting.htm
