Mike McGrath

In a colossal showing of whistling speed, Mike McGrath whistles quot;Happy Birthdayquot; 18 times in one minute, a new universal record.

McGrath’s spectacular feat surpasses previous record holder Dan Rollman’s effort by two renditions. The feat was achieved on February 7, 2009 at his home in Santee, California. No witnesses were present.

Vernon Frenzel released a whistle through his friend’s hands lasting 14.08 seconds.

Kenny Lewis

Kenny Lewis whistled for 44.95 seconds while riding his bicycle though Death Valley. His tune of choice was Walking In The Air, the theme from the 1982 animated film of Raymond Briggs’ 1978 children’s book The Snowman[].

Lewis took the ride to raise money for WaterAid.

Josh Werner whistled for 37.00 seconds.

Chase Hermsen

Chase Hermsen made 379 hand whistles in a single breath.

Esther Crow, playing the character Ethel Goldblatt, whistled "The Lady Is A Tramp[]" in 30.60 seconds while holding a Warrior Three yoga pose.

Crow set the record at a World Record Appreciation Society event held at Littlefield in Brooklyn, New York. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present as witnesses.

Rob Lewis and Kris James

Rob Lewis and Kris James let out whistles that were at least 120 decibels. It’s possible they were louder, but the sound level meter apparently maxed out.

Lewis and James whistled during URDB’sBreakCancer partyat the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present as witnesses.

Two student campers from iD Tech Camps Ohio State University hummed and whistled simultaneously, creating a tractor beam noise, for 18.55 seconds.

Andy Pelphrey blew his whistle at a truck 38 times in 10 seconds.

Noah Riffe

Noah Riffe blew a train whistle 78 times in 30 seconds. He blew a total of 82 notes but the last four attempts did not fall inside the 30 second mark.
