Katie Lema complains 53 times in one minute, a new world record. Her feat beat the previous record by nine complaints. Lema was inspired to do it after her mother remarked she complains a lot and talks really fast.

The record was set on April 4, 2009 in Edenton, North Carolina. Ethan Lema was present as a witness.

CNN reporter Alina Cho performed a network news signature sign-off 38 times in 30 seconds.

Matt Bourgault recited the English alphabet backwards 16 times in one minute.

A camper from iD Tech Camps Ohio State Universty said “I love you Kristi” 58 times in 39 seconds.

Patrick Jackman said the word quot;yoquot; 123 times in 15 seconds.

Using “tore” as her root word, Amber Justis threw out 26 “tore” related phrases in one minute. Phrases created included “chicken cacciTORE” and “Robert PatTOREson.”

Justis achieved the feat at a World Record Appreciation Society event held in San Francisco on September 24, 2009.

James Hulser recited the At A Minute Or Two ’Til Two tongue twister in 7.57 seconds.

Stuart Duggan recited the tongue twister “Mrs. Smith’s Fish Sauce Shop” 18 times in 30 seconds. He broke the record live in the Bright FM studio during the Bailey @ Breakfast show.

Richie Fredericks said the phrase “I’ll have what she’s having” 45 times in 30 seconds. The phrase is a classic line taken from the film When Harry Met Sally[].

Mark Lamster complained to a deli waiter eight times in 30 seconds. He delivered 12 complaints but the last four were not within the designated time.

Lamster accomplished the feat on October 18, 2009 at Ben’s Deli during a book release party for David Sax’s Save The Deli. Officials from RecordSetter.com were on hand to document the record.
