Sarah Reed

Demonstrating tremendous tongue muscle control, Sarah Reed created an unprecedented five wrinkles in her tongue, a new universal record. ‘Tongue wrinkle’ is defined as a natural, u-shaped indentation along the edge of one’s tongue.

Reed performed the feat at the Burning Man festival in Black Rock City, Nevada on August 29, 2008. Playa Book of Records executive members Dan Rollman and Steve Payonzeck were present to count the wrinkles and document the record.

Kat McDaniel

Kat McDaniel protrudes her tongue 3 inches from her mouth, a new world record. The measurement was taken from the tip of her tongue to the point where her tongue meets her upper lip.

The record was set on May 4, 2009 in San Diego, California. Tyler Densley was present to document and measure the record.

Russell D. Kingery

Russell D. Kingery’s tongue measures three inches at its widest point.

James Hulser

James Hulser recited the At A Minute Or Two ’Til Two tongue twister in 7.57 seconds.

Caroline Miller

Walt Ribeiro touched his tongue to his nose 121 times in one minute.

The record was set at a World Record Appreciation Society event held at Joe’s Pub in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present as witnesses.
