This record was captured at the Burning Man festival in Black Rock City, Nevada on August 29, 2008. Steve Payonzeck and Dan Rollman were present to document the feat and count the toenails.

Scot Bain has a toenail measuring 1 inch.

Fefe Anon has a pile of finger and toe nails measuring 1.5 centimeters in height. He clipped the nails over a period of two years.

Anon says that some of the collection has been lost due to small unidentified bugs that live in the pile and consume it.
