James’ thumb, which measures just 1 1/2 inches in length, was documented at the Burning Man festival in Black Rock City, Nevada on August 29, 2008. Dan Rollman and Tonya Zohba, Executive Committee Members of the Playa Book of Records, were on hand to measure and videotape the record-setting digit.
