Suresh Gaur balanced a knitting needle on his thumb for 14 minutes, 16.92 seconds.

Lu Sommer cast on 15 knitted stitches in 18.95 seconds while dressed up as a French girl.

Mark Evans balanced an egg on top of a knitting needle on his thumb for two minutes, 9.25 seconds while sitting.

Pavol Durdik balanced a knitting needle on his chin for two minutes, 55.32 seconds.

Mark Evans balanced a knitting needle on his thumb for one minute, 9.66 seconds while stepping on a stepper machine.

Using two-ply Lamb’s Pride Bulky wool, Carrie Melago crocheted a doily measuring 5’ in diameter in one hour. Melago set the set the record during a World Record Appreciation Society[] event at Pianos in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present to witness and measure the feat. #WRAS10

This record was set as part of Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011. Alex Young knit a scarf measuring 5 feet, 8 inches in two hours, a new world record. She used size 17 U.S. needles and two huge balls of yarn. Young knit the scarf on May 20, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society[] event in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present to document the feat. #WRAS06 #RecordSetterBook01
