Helen Cetjan laced a Saucony sneaker in 21.25 seconds, a world record. Timing began when she started lacing and finished when she’d successfully crisscrossed the lace through all the holes.

Laura All spelled 43 words using the letters in ‘SAUCONY ORIGINALS’ in one minute, a world record. One-letter words weren’t accepted, but two-letter words were OK. She wasn’t allowed to read words from a computer-generated list.

As part of a charity initiative, 53 indie music artists signed a single Saucony sneaker. The contributors came from 20 bands different bands who performed at the 2009 Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago, Illinois, including Yo La Tengo, The National and The Walkmen[].
The shoe will be auctioned off on MissionFish.org, with all proceeds going to Saucony’s Run for Good Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to combating childhood obesity.
