Run World Records  

A total of 29 runners from Team Sundance and Team Awinningway participated in running events in Clermont, Florida. They set the record to promote health and wellness and to celebrate Global Running Day 2017.

Greta Henderson completed a 50-foot dash in 10.41 seconds while wearing a mermaid costume.

Nigel Henderson completed a 50-foot dash in 4.25 seconds while wearing an Egyptian costume.

Alicia Weber completed 300 thick bar pull-ups and a one-mile cross country run in 23 minutes, 50.80 seconds.

Glandu of Manu dans le 6/9 ran 12.4 mph on a treadmill placed on a street sidewalk. He wore a full bunny suit throughout the entire attempt and set the record during a live radio show and a live broadcast on their radio show's Facebook page.

Tom Whiteley ran one mile for 768 consecutive days. He underwent total hip replacement surgery in February 2012. He began the record on August 22, 2014 and ended on September 27, 2016. Whiteley is a member of the United States Running Streak Association, a group that is dedicated to running at least one mile every day.

Alicia Weber ran cross country one mile with 100 consecutive push-ups in seven minutes, 55.70 seconds.

56 people from The University of San Diego football team ran into a banner at a football game.

Alicia Weber performed a 100-meter cross-country ab wheel arm walk in four minutes, 17.00 seconds.

A Doritos fan performed a 50-foot parachute run in 3.00 seconds while holding a Doritos Mix bag. The record was set as part of the Doritos Bold 50 campaign.

Alicia Weber completed a two-mile cross-country run with 200 consecutive push-ups in 18 minutes, 41.40 seconds.

Noa O. ran 11 laps around a tree in 30 seconds. He is six years old.

Elliott Osborn ran 45 meters backwards in 7.90 seconds.

Narek Hakobyan ran 60 meters backward in 9.63 seconds.

Calum Neff finished a half marathon in one hour, 11 minutes, 27.00 seconds while pushing a stroller. He set the record at the Katy Half Marathon in Katy, Texas.

Aaron L. ran a distance of 66 kilometers (41.01 miles) while wearing a gas mask. He set the record during the 40th Marine Corps Marathon. The event was held to raise awareness for the 22 veterans a day who commit suicide. Aaron served in the Marine Corps for 15 years and was a suicide and crisis negotiator during his time.
