BeatboxerAdam Matta delivered 17 different vocal instruments in a 4-beat measure, a new world record. The tempo of the performance was approximately 86 BPM. Matta performed the feat at a World Record Appreciation Society event in New York City on February 11, 2009. It took place at Pianos, a Lower East Side bar. Dan Rollman was present to time and count the instruments. Zack Selwyn and Eric Schwartz name dropped 70 names in a freestyle rap, a RecordSetter World Record. Dan Rollman was present to adjudicate, and Mike Phirman held the cue cards. The record was set at The Comedy Store during RecordBreakerz: Champions of Musical comedy, a collective of musical comedians created by Schwartz. ToTsreferenced potatoes 30 times in his rap song “Crispy.”DJ Mix Master Mash provided beats for the song. ToTs, who raps only about potatoes, recently raised money through Kickstarter[] to produce a full-length album. The Coup De Tots will be released in 2010.
