Portrait World Records

ArtistEdmond Hawkins drew 11 portraits of strangers using both his left and right hand in two minutes. Hawkins set the record at a World Record Appreciation Society event held at Joe’s Pub in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present as witnesses. [#WRAS15][]

Rajesh, a Sydney-based photographer and cinematographer, took eight hours to capture portraits of 1,010 individuals. He set the record during the India-Australia Friendship Fair in Sydney, Australia.

Siva Pamarthi made a Buddha portrait using jute twine that measures 11 feet in width and 9 feet in height.

Darla Nageswara Rao created a portrait of US President Barack Obama[] using 33,333 round stickers.

Sujit Das created a painting measuring 4 centimeters in length and 3.5 centimeters in width.

JC Coccoli took eight self-protraits in one minute in front of a live audience who sang "You’re So Vain". The record was set at a RecordSetter LIVE! event at Meltdown Comics in Los Angeles, California. [#RSLIVE23][]
