Vermont Americorps Members

51 members of the Vermont AmeriCorps group came together and recited the AmeriCorps Pledge with at least 26 people in the group standing on one leg. The world record was set at their Annual Statewide Conference in Stowe, Vermont.

The AmeriCorps Pledge:
"I will get things done for America
to make our people safer,
smarter, and healthier.
I will bring Americans together
to strengthen our communities.
Faced with apathy,
I will take action.
Faced with conflict,
I will seek common ground.
Faced with adversity,
I will persevere."
