    This record was captured at the Burning Man festival in Black Rock City, Nevada on August 29, 2008. Steve Payonzeck and Dan Rollman were present to document the feat and count the toenails.

    TJ Ervin attached 34binder clips to his face, a new world record. He used small clips selected from an Office Depot Assorted Binder Clips container.

    Ervin set the record at a World Record Appreciation Society event in San Diego, California. It took place as part of a 91X Morning Show broadcast held at the local House of Blues. Dan Rollman and Matt Diablo documented the record and counted the clips.

    Dina Mishev climbed 34,546 feet in 24 hours, a new world record. Using climbing skins, she repeatedly trekked up a 1502-foot trail, checking in with officials at the top off the trail, before skiing down and checking in with officials at the bottom. She did this 23 times in 24 hours.

    The record was set on February 8, 2009 during the 24 Hour Sunlight Challenge at the Sunlight Mountain Resort in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

    Skateboard daredevil Ryan Sattley completed 131 tail taps in a single turn, a new universal record.

    Using a tremendous focus and balance, Sattley masterfully tapped the tail of his board against the halfpipe 131 times in a row before dropping back in. The feat was completed on January 19, 2009 in San Diego, California. Court Godfrey was on hand to count the taps and witness the feat.

    Rollman set her record on March 19, 2009 at Konyaalti Beach in Antalya, Turkey. Her husband Gary was present to document the feat.

    Rollman set his record on March 19, 2009 at Konyaalti Beach in Antalya, Turkey. Barbara Rollman was present to document the record and count the strides.

    Dominic Pavicic climbs onto a closed folding ladder and stays balanced on it for 50.94 seconds, a new world record. He lost his balance when he got fancy and tried to do it with one hand.

    Pavicic performed the daring feat on March 1, 2009 at his home in Perth, Australia. Neil Fernandez was present to time and document the record.

    Dakota Smith piggybacked four people at once, a new world record. His performance beat the previous record by one person. At one point Smith had five people on his back, but they didn’t stay up for at least ten seconds, a time length set by the original record creator.

    Smith set the record on May 5, 2009 in Lake City, Floridia. Dustin Busscher was present as a witness.

    Phil Covitz and Andrea D’Attanasio complete a world record 111 tandem single-rope jumps during the duration of the Run-D.M.C. song, ’It’s Tricky[]’. Jumps where they tripped or stumbled over the rope were not counted.

    The couple set the record on March 25, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society[] event held at Pianos in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present as witnesses.
