Carlos Santos performed a double stroke drum roll that lasted 19 hours, 28 minutes, and 25.00 seconds. He set the record to support positive parenthood and raise awareness of the rights of parents and children. The event was supported by The Castelo Branco Forum, Rock Academy School, and Beat Parental Alienation, an international musical initiative against parental alienation.

Derek Simmons, who releases albums under the alias of Force One Networkz[], has recorded and released 17 indie hip hop albums so far in 2009. He has three more scheduled for release before the end of the year.

Chris Carraba of Dashboard Confessional performed a concert on top of Pikes Peak Mountain in Colorado at 14,111 feet above sea level. The concert was performed to raise funds for The Love Hope Strength Foundation.

Tai Star named 26 songs written and/or performed by the Grateful Dead in 30 seconds.

Gwendolyn Cassling and Hilary Hodge led 47 people in a vocal rendition of Saturday in the Park by Chicago on a Saturday in a park in Chicago[].
