70 people set a record for largest group of masked dental hygienists to support Break Cancer as an early celebration of Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Month[] and National Young Adult Cancer Awareness Week[]. 28 people from 2011 LIVESTRONG Texas 4000 Team lifted their bikes up and said “Break Cancer” following a 40-mile ride.

17 members of the Larsen Family /Team Shan gathered to say “Breast Cancer Awarenesss for Young Women”.

Mason Kinard trashed “Cancer” 28 times in 30 seconds.

Lisa Watson, a Nurse Oncology Education Program marketing guru, has 62 office items wrapped in tin foil.

Alanna Iverson and 51 other cyclists danced the robotwhile wrapped in Christmas lights. The participants were a group of cyclists on a long distance bike ride to raise money for cancer research.

Nine cancer survivors and eight oncology staff members participated in a 17-person silent anti-cancer message.

55 members of Texas 4000 each beat up a “cancer balloon.” They set the record as part of LIVESTRONG Young Adult Alliance’s Break Cancer campaign.

Emily Peterson and 32 of her friends each crushed an aluminum can for cancer.

23 people gathered on November 15, 2010 to discuss adolescent and young adult cancer patients and families in and around Portland, Oregon. At the end of the meeting everyone said“Rompe el cancer” at once. The gathering was hosted by the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute Adolescent[] and Young Adult Oncology Program and the External Advisory Committee. The 23rd person to participate in this world record was the cameraman.

On November 24, 2010, Lorna Larsen, president of Team Shan, presented to 450 students at the University of Western Ontario. Following the lecture, she inspired the entire room to say, “Team Shan Breast Cancer Awareness for Young Women” at the same time.

Seven people finished the 2010 San Antonio Rock & Roll Full & Half-Marathon[] said “Break cancer!” after their completion of the race.

46 “Mommas” shaved their heads in solidarity with kids battling cancer. The group's goal is to raise $1 million dollars for pediatric oncology, and donate it the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Radio Shack donated 100 video cameras to the Livestrong Young Adult Alliance to raise awareness for young adult cancer.

10,000 fans at a college football game between the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners held up Livestrong placards showing their support in the battle against cancer. The record was set at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas on October 2, 2010.

Eight men completed testicular self examinations at once. The record was set at Do512’s World Record Party, held at The Highball[] in Austin, Texas on August 27, 2010. #WRP01
