Sullivan set the record at a World Record Appreciation Society
event held at Joe’s Pub in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey
Henderson were present as witnesses.
Jessica Spears roasted marshmallows on a stick measuring 96 inches (8
feet) in length.
Shelby Kneitl has a scar on her right leg measuring 34.75 inches (88.27
centimeters). It stretches from her ankle to above her hip.
Kevin F. balanced precariously on his fingers for 41.82 seconds.
Suresh G. stood on one foot while poi spinning for six minutes, 11.08 seconds.
Dinesh Shivnath Upadhyaya displays the tremendous depth of his nostril
by inserting a four inch nail all the way inside his nose.

Vincent Sanchez has a sideburn measuring 11" in length.
Scot Bain has a toenail measuring 1 inch.
Charles Steffes-Clayton caught a fish that was 1 1/16".

Pushing the physical limits of mankind, Jesse James sets a world record
for the shortest thumb on a fully grown human. James’ thumb, which
measures just 1 1/2 inches in length, was documented at the Burning Man
festival in Black Rock City, Nevada on August 29, 2008. Dan Rollman and
Tonya Zohba, Executive Committee Members of the Playa Book of Records,
were on hand to measure and videotape the record-setting digit.
Using just sweat and condensation as adhesive, Patrick MacIntosh sets a
new record for the world’s longest ‘beericorn’. MacIntosh kept the can
stuck to his head for a gravity-defying one minute, 53.15 seconds.
Again, no artificial adhesive was used. The can was empty for the
attempt. MacIntosh set his record on August 27, 2008 at the Burning Man
festival in Black Rock City, Nevada. Steve Payonzeck and Xavier Smith
were present to witness and document the feat.
