Joseph Gunderson

Joseph Gunderson completed 137 air guitar windmills in one minute. The windmills were done in the spirit of legendary guitarist Pete Townshend. Windmills can be clockwise or counter-clockwise, but must rotate in the same direction for the full minute.

The feat was achieved on July, 19, 2009 at the Pitchfork Music Festival[] in Chicago. Representatives from URDB.org were present to document the record.

Shriver set the record at a World Record Appreciation Society event held at Joe’s Pub in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present as witnesses.

Matta performed the feat at a World Record Appreciation Society event in New York City on February 11, 2009. It took place at Pianos, a Lower East Side bar. Dan Rollman was present to time and count the instruments.
