BeatboxerAdam Matta delivered 17 different vocal instruments in a 4-beat measure, a new world record. The tempo of the performance was approximately 86 BPM. Matta performed the feat at a World Record Appreciation Society event in New York City on February 11, 2009. It took place at Pianos, a Lower East Side bar. Dan Rollman was present to time and count the instruments. 465 attendees at Choralia VocalEssence Spring Gala performed a nose flute orchestra. The record was set during an event benefiting the VocalEssence Community Engagement Programs, ¡Cantaré! and WITNESS, which annually bring music to more than 5,000 K-12 students throughout the Twin Cities area in Minnesota.
