Cantwell used <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graham_cracker">graham crackers</a>, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hershey_Company">Hershey’s</a> chocolate and a combination of marshmallows and <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marshmallow_creme">marshmallow fluff</a> to assemble it, and a small blowtorch to heat the ingredients. He dictated it had to stand alone without any support or assistance in order for the record to count. </p> <p>Cantwell built the s’more on August 12, 2009 at a <a href="http://tumblelog.urdb.org/post/151876496/urdb-presents-world-record-appreciation-society-8">World Record Appreciation Society</a>[] event in New York City.
