This record was set as part of Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself.

Matthew F buried himself beneath a pile of 10 bicycles, a new world record. The count was reduced to 9, however, as one of the bikes was missing a rear tire.
Matthew F set the mark on July 6, 2009 in Washington D.C. Andrew A and Emily H were present as witnesses.

Largest Group To Form A Dedication Circle Followed By A Can-Can Line
60 riders in the Texas 4000stood in a circle and made individual dedications before lining up and forming a can-can line. They set the record before heading out on a bicycle ride.

Longest Bicycle Ride With Feet On Handlebars
Alexander Paul Kleinschmidt rode a bicycle with his feet on the handlebars for two minutes, 40.45 seconds, a new world record.
Kleinschmidt set the record on June 28, 2009 in a McKinney, Texas parking lot. Karise Marie Carrillo was present as a witness.

Longest Five Person Tandem Big Wheel Ride
Rich Dwyer, Greg Obetz, Mike Richwalder, Brice Biruta, and Andrew Hiller rode tandem style on three Big Wheels for six minutes, 16.10 seconds. Three men steered the tricycles with the other two balanced on the back.

Longest Tandem Bicycle Ride With Full-Sized Artificial Skeleton In Back Seat
Art Hoffman rode 437 miles with a full-sized skeleton on the back seat of his tandem bicycle. The skeleton (named Oscar) was affixed to the back seat with Hoffman when he participated in the RAGBRAI bike ride in 1987. Oscar wore a "U.S Tobacco Industry" sign that was part of anti-smoking campaign Hoffman started.

Longest Time Whistling While Riding A Bicycle In Death Valley
Kenny Lewis whistled for 44.95 seconds while riding his bicycle though Death Valley. His tune of choice was Walking In The Air, the theme from the 1982 animated film of Raymond Briggs’ 1978 children’s book The Snowman[].
Lewis took the ride to raise money for WaterAid.
