Candy World Records  

Using only Pop Rocks, the Reflections of Christ Student Ministry created a symphonic sound that reached 72.7 decibels, a new world record. The record was set on April 3, 2009 in Lake City, Florida. Dustin Busscher was present to witness and document the feat. tag:RecordSetterBook01

Trevor Cummings stretched a piece of gum 564 inches long. Stride’s setting 100 records in 100 days. At the end of 100 days, we’ll verify if you are the standing Record Holder. If you are, you’ll get $500 for each record you managed to hold with your guile, talent, and sheer will. General caution and common sense required. Carl Cutler opened a package of Werther’s Original butter candies and poured them down his own pants in 5.18 seconds. Cutler set this record during an attempt to achieve the most world records set in one minute. He completed this record during an episode of Subterranean on WRLR, 98.3 FM.

4-year old Emily McManaman sorted 106 jelly beans by color in two minutes, 9.69 seconds.

This record was set as part of Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011. Clint Dalton and his sister, both of whom have red hair, each ate a pack of Smarties while playing Velcro Catch.

Erin Fierst stuffed a jelly beaninto 12 marshmallow Peeps and then fit the Peeps inside a 7-ounce chocolate bunny. Herinspiration for the record was taken from a turducken,

Ethan Petersen ate a mini Hershey chocolate bar in 24.32 seconds while hula-hooping. Petersen set the record on February 21, 2010 at the 2nd Annual Brooklyn World Record Day, an event hosted by RecordSetter in conjunction with Beam Camp as part of their Inventgenuity Festival. #BWRD02

87 members of the Reflection of Christ Student Ministry blew bubbles at the same time, a new world record. They used Dubble Bubble gum to set the record. The feat was achieved on June 17, 2009 in Lake City, Florida. Dustin Busscher was present as a witness.

Jacob Fowler blew a bubble using 12 pieces of Bazooka bubble gum, a new world record. He achieved the feat live on-air during the KLPX Wake-Up Call on May 20, 2008. The record was set in Tuscon, Arizona, with Scott Barnett present as a witness.
