Creating a popping vocal effect by slowly releasing her deepest breath,
Debbie Hampton lets out a 41.78 second vocal fry, a new universal
record. She outlasted Jake Bronstein, who was also attempting the feat.
The record was achieved at a World Rercord Appreciation Society
gathering on November 24, 2008 in New York City. Event organizers Dan
Rollman and Corey Henderson were on hand to document the feat.
Gotaro Takahashi sets a new world record by emitting an 18.72 second
quot;shhquot; while wearing a catcher’s mask, sunglasses, and holding a
blue, helium-filled balloon.
Takahashi performed the feat on May, 9 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia. His
father was present as a witness.
Cory Cavin responded to an interruption from a crowd heckler with an
“Oh, man” reaction that lasted 33.42 seconds. Cavin was talking with
event host Dan Rollman about shoes when the interruption took place.

This record was set as part of Prius Records, a two-day event
streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials
adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records
ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself.
The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st,
