Creating a popping vocal effect by slowly releasing her deepest breath, Debbie Hampton lets out a 41.78 second vocal fry, a new universal record. She outlasted Jake Bronstein, who was also attempting the feat.
The record was achieved at a World Rercord Appreciation Society gathering on November 24, 2008 in New York City. Event organizers Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were on hand to document the feat.
