Beer World Records  

Mike Gamble drank a full bottle of beer through a cocktail straw while shredding on the B string of his electric guitar in 58.25 seconds. His bandmate helped refill the glass while the record was being set. Gamble performed the feat on July 14, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society[] event in New York City. Using sweat and condensation as adhesive, Patrick MacIntosh kept a beer can attached to his forehead for one minute, 53.15 seconds. MacIntosh set the record on August 27, 2008 at the Burning Man festival in Black Rock City, Nevada. Steve Payonzeck and Xavier Smith were present to witness and document the feat. #BM2008

Kevin Rose and professional skateboarder Tony Hawk each chugged a beer in 11.03 seconds while continuously high fiving the entire time. The record was set on November 6, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Daniel Marino and Manuel Dominguez drank one pint of beer each and then filled a Connect Four board with a checkerboard pattern in 53.44 seconds. They performed the feat on November 24, 2009 during a Connect Four Tournament[] at the The Bell House in Brooklyn, New York. Dan Rollman and Rob Birdsong were on hand to witness and time the feat. Octavian Drulea led a group toast in which 17 glasses were raised at once, a new world record. One participant clinked a virtual beverage: an iBeer application for the iPhone, which he then emptied on camera. Drulea set the record on February 17, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society event at the Hemlock Tavern in San Francisco, California. At the Zappos.com Bay to Breakers road race in San Francisco, California, 24 people set a world record for Largest Group Non-Dominant Hand Toast. The group raised a toast drinking Lagunitas beer. Garrett ‘Mr. T’ Holtz completed 13 consecutive one-handed cartwheels while holding an open beer. Th world record was set on August 27, 2008 at the Burning Man festival in Black Rock City, Nevada.
